Chief Executive

Mr. Imran Ahmed Shirvanee is the Chief Executive of the company. Professional media person engaged in journalism, socio-political program production for TV and Radio, and teacher and trainer on media affairs for various institutions, Shirvanee believes that his profession is art: he has professed to create beauty in all things he does. Thus, his journalism (which he describes as his religion, the chosen way of life) is a career of designing beautiful pages, writing sharp headlines, rewriting trash into great copy, and in process turning raw young people into good journalists. His journalism has now become electronic where he has written, presented, produced, and directed interesting TV shows and Radio columns.

He started his media career in 1973 from Radio Pakistan as an approved artiste. He wrote his first play in 1974, and a sequel in 1975, thus establishing clearly his writing credentials at a very tender age. He has spent most of his life as a journalist, though theater is also one of his passions. He has written and directed a number of plays on stage. His work has also been presented out of Pakistan. He has worked for DAWN newspaper, The News International, The Muslim, The Mag Weekly, GeoTV, ARY One World, Express News, and IPNews magazine as full timer, and for various other organizations, including PTV, Aaj TV, and Indus TV as a freelancer. Though he has traveled to quite a few places, he lives in Karachi with his wife and two daughters.
