he Eqbal Ahmed Center for Public Education Video Contest, sponsored by Getz Pharma, gave aspiring documentary and videographers a platform to highlight how they can contribute to change in the country. This year, a short student documentary, Dilmurad aur kekra, produced by Beehive Peoples Media was declared the runner-up by the jury in this Contest. On 2 February 2019, at a ceremony during the Adab Festival Pakistan held at the Sindh Governor House, Karachi, two representatives of Beehive Peoples Media received the runner-up prize of One Hundred Thousand rupees from the Getz PharmaCEO, Mr Khalid Mehmood.

The documentary focuses on the life of Dil Murad, a pre-teen from Chashma Goth, who had to quit schooling to go into crabbing just to support his family. Beehive Peoples Media CEO Imran Shirvanee, Company Secretary Khazima Munaf, and DaesTV head Maaz Nawaz along with Associate Producer Akbar Ali attended the ceremony where Akbar Ali and Khazima Munaf received the award on behalf of the production team. Eighteen documentaries were produced as part of that workshop by the students. These are part of several other TV programs that students of DaesTV program produced during 2016-18 workshops. Currently, a team of DaesTV students is producing a Web talk show, The Ghair Syasi Show, with Imran Shirvanee as host.
